ABOUT US

Diamond Cutter Press (DCP) was founded by John Cerullo in 2003 in order to publish books on Buddhism and yoga, including the book How Yoga Works by Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Christie McNally. That book has become a modern classic on yoga and continues to grow in popularity each year it's in print. Since then, DCP has published a modest amount of carefully selected titles that fit with our motivation and intent to benefit others.

Cerullo is a practicing Buddhist and a student of Gyumed Khensur Rinpoche Lobsang Jampa—spiritual director of Do Ngak Kunphen Ling (DNKL), Tibetan Buddhist Center for Universal Peace in Redding, CT—and Geshe Lobsang Dhargye—resident teacher and scholar at DNKL. He is currently developing a series of books based on the Six Perfections, which are the actions of a bodhisattva and must be practiced in order to reach Buddhahood. The Six Perfections are: generosity, ethics, patience, enthusiastic perseverance, concentration, and wisdom. Other spiritual teachers have included Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Christie McNally.

DCP is also very active in foreign rights management and actively sells rights to all of its titles, plus all titles written by Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Christie McNally. This effort is headed up by our Foreign Rights Manager, Brooks Singer, and Tina Garza.

Clare Cerullo, Production Manager and Web Administrator, handles the production and design of all publications, as well as administration of the company website.
